 This show included many mediums, including ceramics, paintings, and a wooden chair

my memories of the days that i paint are crystal clear. 

i can hear it, i can smell it, i remember what i felt, the faces i saw, the music i heard

the weeks following are literally more colorful.

i am a happier woman when I’m painting

this is meditation.

my form of worship. a way to interact with the world and lead me into myself

this show is about discovery-mostly of colors, shapes, settings, dreams, and generational memories. 

making; represents the physical time I took to be selfish and loving. patiently appreciating the subtle beauty of my surroundings—

pondering the domestic spaces I spend time in, the Ozark landscapes I feel tied to, and the woman who came out of them.
